Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but here in Gibsontwistville, Pictures of You was a success. We had our highest traffic ever, which meant a lot of people were reading, we had a great reaction to the hidden Easter Eggs, and the live chats went so well, we're working on making them a regular thing. More information on that later. Right now, I just want to take another minute to thank not only everyone who came out for the live chat, and not just for the folks who tweetied and bookfaced and blogged and generally spread the word, though you guys kick the shit out of the ass. I also want to thank everyone who read and keeps reading. Cheers, folks.
Now, as Read Pictures of You Day is over, it's time to turn the tables and read some other fine webcomics. Every update for the rest of the month, I'll be linking to webcomics that I read on a regular basis, ones that I think deserve more attention. Today, that comic is The End by Ran and Cory Brown.
The End...somehow, you always knew the end of the world would happen at a comic convention. Ran and Cory Brown's THE END only shows us how. Cool lines and swanky colours abound! See more at http://www.endcomic.com
Plus, there's a new alternate dialogue voting incentive up on TWC now. Honestly, I can't stop giggling about it.
Yep, Easter Eggs. I hid a couple new extra pages throughout the comic with bonuses. I didn't announce them because I didn't want people hunting for them. Just added fun to celebrate the day. They've been removed now, but the folks who found them know what they were.
Patrick won't change, this isn't a severe enough situation to "break" a character into breaking. Plus he's presently the main source of strive, he can't be like that if he all of a sudden becomes the bigger person.
I didn't find any Easter Eggs. D: I should learn to keep my guard up, always alert!
Mmmm, the voting incentive was so perfect. And so very probable.
Oh, I hope this conversation with Melanie goes well.
While we're telling bad jokes (as seen on the alternate page) I took my girlfriend car shopping today. She said she wanted something that went from 0 to 160 in ten seconds. So I got her a bathroom scale.
I'm already waiting for next year, man. Hopefully by then I'll get a webcam so I can join in on the live chats
Picture of You day was awesome.
Thank you for saving the streams! Watched them and really enjoyed listening while doing a little post-read-pictures-of-you-day reading. Great page as always. The way you pace stuff is fantastic.
Also, the vote incentives are continuously hilarious.
