"Pictures of You is the memoire of Peter Morris and the best friends he ever lost. Comic and tragic, it is a rollercoaster of sex, drugs and rock n roll."

Is this gonna be like Ziggy Stardust?

Awsome, faved.

Gibson Twist, February 6th, 2007, 7:44 pm

This will be about as far from Ziggy Stardust as you can get, but there are Bowie references. And Pink Floyd. And Radiohead. And Supercat. And Fantastic Plastic Machine. And G Love. And..well, there's a lot of music.

awesome, I can tell this is a heartfelt and personal story, those are the best kind, the ones that have a real personal connection to their artist.

This looks like it's going to be awesome.

Just the synopsis you gave in the forum pulled at my heartstrings... This looks to be very promissing...! I'll be watching this one!

Jeepers you've only had this up 3 days and you've already got half the fans that my Road to 24 Hour Comics Day has! And you doubt your talent, sir.

I'm only on the second page and I'm already hooked in by the writing and the awesome stark contrast art. Seriously, I love the writing. Especially how the first page opened.

This is... beautiful. I can see the feelings you put into this.

And Pink Floyd references? Sir, you have me hooked.

This page is beautifully drawn. Also love the paneling as well as the narration written on this page. Looks like a work of a professional... And now to continue reading.

Man, the color looks good, but I miss the black and white!

eddygazilion, July 1st, 2009, 1:34 am

Gibson, you continue to surpass every expectation. Moody AND in color! You are truly the man.

Norman MacLean
Yeah, you missed the perfect reference here, and most people won't get it, but in the first edition, and every edition worth reading; of "A River Runs Through It", the closing line was "I am haunted by waters" and you being all canuck, I'm sure you can relate.

I've just realized that Bishop street ends the exact way this starts. Genius work, I commend you. Can't wait for Road Notes.
