Hey, look, it's that guy!

There are so many reasons why I love this page, not the least of which being the number of cameos I managed to put into it. A lot of them are folks that I know in real life, all of whom affected the writing of this story in one way or another. Fans of my other work will recognized some familiar faces in the first panel.

Yes, it is a great page, I had a laugh with Peter's face while listening the guys at the comic books store, it was so funny.
It's nice that you added cameos of real people, they should be proud to appear in your comic!

There was totally a comic store in my hometown called 'Warp 9'
This page is a 9.8 on the awesome scale. I hold back those .2 points so you don't get cocky.

Perhaps I just missed it by accident, but I'm itching to know what town we're in. Is it Canada? Halifax? Too small? Toronto? Too big?

Great comic by the way, since I'm surprised I haven't mentioned that already

That poster probably gives you an idea of the timeframe of the story, but the location is a bit trickier. It is in Canada, but the city is never named, and is, actually, a fictional amalgam of Halifax and Saint John, the two cities in which the real events took place. Even so, it isn't in a port city, so there are elements from other towns as well.

And thank you and everyone else.

Ah, I see, that makes perfect sense. I knew it couldn't be Toronto & being a Haligonian myself I could almost recognize it

I was thinking New Minas, myself, what with the great comic shop and everything. Right Ben?

Ahhhhh! PULP STIKTION! Great plug, Gibson.

Is this comic available in print? If not, it should be- 'cus I wanna buy it. XD
The only thing that's bugging me is the size. I know if you scaled it down you'd lose the detail and the text would become hard to read but all of this scrolling is hurting my eyes. :(

Gibson Twist, April 15th, 2007, 10:39 pm

Available in print? Not yet, but we're working on it. As for the scrolling, I wish there was a solution to that. My only suggestion is to copy the pages and print them, but if you do, please destroy the copies when you're done. You know, copyright blah blah blah.

Thanks for reading and taking the time to comment, I'm very glad you are enjoying it. The best is yet to come.

Holy shit, so far this comic is bringing back half-welcome memories of my own college days, right down to the Plan 9 music store. Good stuff, though.

Hal Jordan IS the one true Green Lantren!

SFaulken (Guest), April 22nd, 2011, 2:41 am

Hal Jordan
I hate the break it to everybody, and agree with youngcannibals, but Hal Jordan is the One True Green Lantern, no matter what Ryan Reynolds does to him.
