You say it enough to me, now I've got to say it to you: I'm constantly blown away by your art. I just find the style so charming, and your inks kick ass. Even the lazily drawn background characters have a certain charm that makes them not only acceptable in their simplicity, but you really wouldn't want them any other way. Besides your details lessen so gradually from the meticulously rendered people in the forefront to the round-heads in the back, that they still somehow fit in.

Side note: Why do bouncers always have that look on their face?

Gibson Twist, March 7th, 2007, 12:48 pm

Because they are on constant lookout for evil-doers. And by evil-doers, I mean anyone they don't like. I used to be a bouncer, sort of, once upon a Halifax.

And thank you very much.

Excellent page, the black and white really growns on you... I'm inspired.

Oh yeah and check typo in second panel 'waking.'

Ah, correct you are, consider it fixed. Although, considering what's coming up, it's apt.

oooh, foreshadowing...

I'm all tingly on the inside.

What's the year this takes place?
I assumed they were college-undergrad- freshmen, so they'd be around 18 or 19, right? I know the drinking age changed in the ...60's? 70's? around there.
