It might sound weird, but my time as a dishpig was one of my more enjoyable gigs. The work wasn't glamorous, but no one gave me a hard time, I could zone out and still work, and not once did I take the job with me when I left. Plus, that sprayer was fun as shit and the staff meals were crazy good. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
When I was taking professional foods in high school (which was a bitch to get accepted into), we had the whole deal - four compartment sink, dish pit, and the spray hose thing. I had that shit on lockdown.
That looks familiar...
... Waitaminute... That's MY job! It's almost like I didn't leave work today... D8
LoL joking, dishdogs really DO have the best of the lower-wage jobs out there. Low stress environment, the work can be ridiculously easy once you figure it out, and the free food is as good as it is convenient. So much better than the theater! =D
This reminds me of when I used to be a dishwasher. I lasted two weeks. I hated that job, and my bitch of a boss always complained that I was too slow, when I was never a dishwasher before and she compared me to her other dishwasher of 9 years.
