I fear Christo's gonna hold it all in for an 'appropriate time' that will never come, and he's going to do something drastic down the line, because he didn't let it out when he could have. There's a line between being suave and cool, to holding it all in and never letting it out.
Not to doubt his logic or anything, but if he moves in with Patrick then Christo will be the one out on the street wont he? Unless he thinks its easier for one person to afford their 3-bedroom house than to afford a 2-bedroom apartment.
I guess Peter feels Patrick's the one that needs the most support right now, and moving in with him is the first thing that came ot him. Slugger's a stand up guy. I really don't think he's abandoning Christo or anything, and his reaction to his "getting dumped twice in one week" comment is a reflection of that.
However, I understand Christo's reaction. He just lost someone dear to him, so of course he wants to keep those he loves close to him, and the timing of Peter's decision is throwing him off balance. I'd probably feel the same way if I were dumped by my girlfriend one day, only to lose my roommate immediately after.
I think Andy didn't say anything because he was surprised, but also because this is a "domestic" matter, as it were, and he's already made the decision to move out, probably thinking that Christo would be be alright as long as Peter was there. Can'T wait to see how it all plays out.
happy birthday!! have an excellent one, with an excellent weekend behind!
i kind of feel sorry for christo, but not that much. seriously. it's not like patrick ripped them off economically and thrashed their place, he was just kind of a bad friend and then god fucked over. it's not even about being 'the better man', it's just about seeing things in context - there is no need to be grudgey asshole and leave patrick in the street.
i guess he's paying with him his frustration over michelle? because christo is a good man deep down. maybe they'll all end up moving in together.
"We'll drink about this later." Best. Line. Ever. (Well, on this page anyways, you tend to always have amazing one liners.) This is so sad. I want to see it all come back together, see Christo decide to move in with Patrick and Peter and everyone live together happily ever after, and it's sadder still knowing it won't happen. Maybe one day, back in that future of a world, they'll meet more of the old gang, hang out once more...
My internet was out yesterday but I saw the day before from Tiny Pink Robots that it was your birthday. Because I was entirely unable to comment then I DEMAND to tell you Happy Birthday now!
I hope life just keeps getting more interesting for you as you get older!
Christo's being a little bitch
I should have expected him to be this insensitive, though. Christo has plenty of time to find a new roomie, and shouldn't have much trouble with that. Patrick, on the other hand, is pretty much screwed, and I trust Peter on this. I think that Patrick definitely deserves a second chance, and Christo should support Peter in not wanting Pat to be homeless.
