In this page we meet another important member of the tribe...the sofa. Not to mention the jamspace, otherwise known as The Funhouse. It's fairly clean for a jamspace, but then again, Patrick would be kind of a cleanfreak.
10 points to anyone who can identify all of the music acts associated with the posters.
Hmm, well there's obvioiusly Nirvana. then 7 Drunk Beavers? Is that what it says? What an awesome band name... The wired up guy I think is Elvis Costello... but it might be Ben Folds. Is the bottom left Miles Davis? or even Ray Charles? It looks like an old jazz/soul musician. The obscured one's the hardest. The leather made me think Ramones, but the pants and stance made me thing GnR. So I'm gonna guess Led Zeppelin, since they have pants, stance and leather.
The skull of course belongs to the Misfits, who countless emo kids now sport black jumpers, never having heard a Misfits song in their life. Or giving a damn about such courtesies.
Dangerface: Because you're a better artist and if you deny it, I'll kick you square in the shroves.
Staniel: Nirvana, Elvis Costello and Misfits are all correct, and I should point out that this part of the story is happening 10 years in the past, when the Misfits were still a band and not a brand name. I've never been a fan, but in the 90's, every jam room in the world had a Misfits poster in it. The Drunk Beavers, however, are fictional, as is Gnome Tax, courtesy Rori DeClue.
The "Cool As Fuck" poster next to the Drunk Beavers is an actual poster that was made and distributed to promote a battle of the bands when I was working at the campus radio station. The station manager was forced to take them all down after a visit from the police.
As for the other two, they harken back to the obscure corners of the early 80's. The bottom left is Ian Curtis from Joy Division, the top right is The Pogues.
