Kids, don't do drugs. And for those of you who will inevitably do drugs no matter how many people tell you not to because doing things you're not supposed to do is cool and always will be, know your dealer.
Tiny Pink Robots! Points for product placement :P
My university adventures went no further than a sheesha pipe, so while I do think this is a dumb idea I am kind of curious to see what acid does.
Thank goodness Wiley didn't join in on this one. One of the few things I know about drugs is that when taking an LSD trip, you always need to pick somebody to be the lookout -- the one who stays sober to watch out for the others and help talk them down in case one of them (or all of them) has a bad trip.
Not that Wiley knew this, I'm sure. :) Still....I'm glad somebody will be sober. I sense ALL of them are going to be having a bad trip.
Funny thing about taking a piss before the acid kicks in: I had neglected to do that before my first and only experience with the drug... 2 hours in, I felt like I was pregnant for some reason (I'm male). My friend, who was also high but much more experienced, suggested that I go sit on the toilet. I pissed for 2 minutes straight. Good times.
Kudos to Wiley, and the others
Wiley, you're awesome. That's all there is to it. But I think the awesome thing to mention is the fact that Wiley said he was good, and everyone was cool with it. That's good friends. That's family. You don't see that very often. There wasn't any push-back, no "Aww...Come on dude", that you hear so often. For anyone that has a friend that says "No," even the most harmless response to that is peer pressure. Some people can't take it. Some people do stupid things they know they shouldn't handle, just because they don't want to let a friend down. Kudo's to all the guys. But especially to the guys that are going to be in la-la land once the pink robots light up.
@Lee A.: That's the feeling I had after my first time...it goes away after a while but I've often considered the fact that it's true. Maybe I've never been the same since. ;)
know
Yes, indeed, know your dealer. I also tell kids to know who you are with when you are drinking or otherwise altering your consciousness. I have had too many kids in the office after a party who found they'd been taken advantage of. Party with people you are safe with. Have a safe place to crash.
Kids, don't do drugs. And for those of you who will inevitably do drugs no matter how many people tell you not to because doing things you're not supposed to do is cool and always will be, know your dealer.
In no way is that foreshadowing.
