I'm starting to get used to the new update format, and response so far has been (curiously) universally positive, so the experiment seems to have been a success! On top of that, it's already given me time to be able to have a working vacation, scouting locations in Chicago for Little Earthquakes with Rori! Ooh, yes, a story where I actually have a specific setting, how novel!

used to it
Yep, I'm starting to get used to it, too - starting to remember to check daily (well, I used to do that sometimes, just hoping...) - and, besides, anything that keeps you happy is great.

He's right.
It is pretty funny.

Only thing I'm not quite used to is only seeing half a page.... that is more than made up by daily updates.

My reaction to the realization that there is, on the face of the earth, a place where people live known as 'Dildo,' would most definitely be the same.

And, it'd be influenced heavily by the fact that Rick the walking STD, for some reason, can't laugh at the fact that he came from a place called Dildo.

I've got no problems at all with the new format, and love checking for updates every dY!

Rick, pretty much the only thing that can save you now is being gay...

aaplayer (Guest), July 10th, 2012, 2:54 am

interesting turn of events
@yayness: that would be a very interesting twist if Rick the Dick ended up being gay....

Mugician13 (Guest), July 10th, 2012, 3:30 am

@aaplayer: Agreed. But I very much think that's not happening.

Problem is, I think Lauren is going to rip into Christo in the next scene, and poor Sam is going to end up getting some on him.

Old Pattern: Three rows of comics, three times a week. Equals, nine rows of comic.

New pattern. Two rows of comic, five times a week. Equals, ten rows of comic.

There's the explanation for the positive feedback.

the new format
Hi everyone. Kotire Here and I just have one thing to say about the new daily format. I don't like it....

Kotire, July 10th, 2012, 4:32 am

I LOVE IT! See what I did there? Used 2 comment boxes to make a funny.

Gibson Twist, July 10th, 2012, 7:53 am

@Kotire: Oh Kotire, you crazy series of tubes!

leonardhbrown, July 10th, 2012, 8:56 am

Considering that there are towns in my home state named "Dry Prong" and "Ball" not to mention "Mound", "Dildo" isn't that bad, really.

PyroTeam, July 10th, 2012, 10:49 am

No it is pretty funny.
Not sure if I like the new format, or the fact that Christo is back...
(I think it's both.)

Los (Guest), July 10th, 2012, 4:54 pm

@Mugician13: Ugh...you're right. She was the same one telling Christo to not flirt with other girls in front of Michelle in the Open Road arc. Every time I think of that line, as sweet and well intentioned as she was, a string of expletives flows through my head. GOD she's being so naive. Sam himself seems to be giving him some awfully skeptical glances. Anyway, yeah, I see some misplaced anger in the forecast too.

thepiousfool (Guest), July 10th, 2012, 5:42 pm

Not only is there a town called "Dildo", it's on the same province, Newfoundland, that boasts both Conception Bay and Placentia Bay.

The_Hankerchief, July 10th, 2012, 9:34 pm

I got the feeling Lauren ain't gonna be happy...but...hehe, Dildo.

Drewster, August 21st, 2012, 12:57 pm

I'm cool with the format. The art is reminiscent of the first book, although the characters are drawn with more definition.
