As The Romantic Junkies ends, sad to say there won't be any Snapshots guest comics this time around. I had a hard time coming up with any material that seemed appropriate and wouldn't interrupt the flow from the sixth book to the seventh. I did want a small break between the books, though, so I've decided to post some of the non-exclusive work I've been sharing with our Patreon supporters.

This first one is a piece I did for a possible cover image for Book Seven, Disintegration. I liked how it turned out, but I didn't feel it was right for the cover. Maybe a little too on the nose? The piece I ended up going with for DIsintegration's cover is, I think, much more appropriate.

If you can't wait to get into Book Seven, the first couple dozen pages are currently available on the Pictures of You Patreon to all supporters for as little as a dollar, with another batch uploaded at the start of each month. Higher support levels also receive exclusive physical prints, as well as not-so-exclusive images including this one, and even extra prose and script written by me. Plus, the support of our Patrons is what brought the comments section back, so thanks to them all for that. Check it out here: https://www.patreon.com/PicturesofYou

What a long strange trip it's been

Is this autobiographical?
I have been following this strip for nearly 6 years now. Looking at your past work "Our Time in Eden" and this one, I think that this was such a good story to the point where I have to wonder: Is any of your material partially auto-biographical?

Gibson Twist, March 22nd, 2017, 6:57 am

@woodennature It's not so much autobiographical as it's inspired by real people and events, but the comic itself is fiction. Our Time in Eden is entirely fiction, though, not related to anything biographical. Thanks for the kind words!
