Getting caught having sex is the only time it takes less time to put your clothes on than it did to take them off.
Patrick totally deserves this btw, hopefully it will shake him up and help him get his shit together instead of pushing him of the deep end into more dangerous people. I'm not holding my breath on that one though.
I'm not the type to "hate" a character since, like, you need people making bad decisions for any kind of realism or drama in a story, but like as someone in an open relationship I've Never Wanted To Swing Harder On A Drawing.
One of the things I like about this comic is the character development. Even when a part of me is trying to drag a character away from a bad decision, another part still wants them to make that bad decision because its part of their development as a character.
As much as I want to side with the "right" side. He did promise not to sneak around, but she started this while knowing that Patrick was never attracted to her. The danger of the two guys coupling off was there and she refused to see it thinking Patrick was all good with the arrangement.
It doesn't make what either of them did right, but she had to have seen this coming a mile away. It's not like other open relationships I've seen. Either all three are mutually attracted and attached or it's open and one person doesn't make a big fuss over who the other might be with.
She tried to force something that wasn't there and this is the result.
Too bad this happened. I'm with the others in hoping this will straighten Patrick out.
To Happybunnyntx, I see your point, but I would argue that the main rule in the 3 of 'em's relationship was still, "No sneaking around. Sure, the boys were going to pair off, and sure, maybe Lexi was aware of that. If they'd been straight with her [ha ha] to begin with, she probably would have been cool with it.
