You ran away from wild Michelle

This is cruel.
This is cruel... And perfect.

I just started reading a week or so ago... Binged read tonight and caught up. To this moment. The last few books have been giving some super hard feels... And landing on this, with him seeing Michelle again, and not being able to find out what happens next is absolutely horrible but also makes me kind of want to stop reading so I can just make up all the happy endings I want.

This comic is beautiful. It's been such an impressive story. Thank you so much for sharing your work.

That look says it all...
Yup...some readers called it last episode, but this response fits perfectly with the introduction to this awesome story arc.

You can really feel his immense shock (in panels 1 & 3) at seeing her again.

And having been there myself Gibson...I just gotta say wow...well done!

That feeling is 100% crystal clear... at least Peter wasn't overwhelmed by the inevitable "I remember the good times/ still love her- better go up and speak to her even though we haven't seen each other or had any contact whatsoever for like years at this point" that so many writers/ artists would just go with... just because. But then this isn't a run-of-the-mill piece of work, so I'm not surprised.

The wait between es thiz week has been excruciating. I was dying to see what way you were going to leap. I wasnt dissapointed.

Full circle
So now we know whose face Peter was referring to on the first page.

It was probably smart of him to leave, if he had approached her in a public place it could have ended badly.

Oh man, I have been there and thankfully did that exact same thing. There is no shame in just slipping away before you're noticed.

I've been there before, running into someone who impacted you like that. Sometimes retreating and regrouping are the only way to deal with the shock.

There was no ugly confrontation, maybe there's still a chance that Peter and Michelle's story isn't over just yet.

Been there, done that. I can FEEL the gut wrenching ICK factor from such a situation.

SamuraiArtGuy, August 16th, 2019, 9:24 pm

Bek (Guest), August 16th, 2019, 10:01 pm
