I believe this is where we came in.

I should probably have mentioned this earlier but it did slip my mind. A few years ago when we printed the first book of Pictures of You, I was incredibly unhappy with the original prologue and I drew a new version of it which is the prologue that is on the site. The old one is burned and doesn't exist anymore. Not much changed, a little pacing and some dialogue. The biggest change was that Peter left the apartment through a door to this staircase instead of through a window to a fire escape. The main reason for this was Sam and Lauren weren't people who would have a fire escape, they would have a staircase. This isn't shitting on fire escapes as much as a statement on Sam and Lauren.

This is the beginning that was the End
I am not 100% sure how I feel about where we are right now...

i hope there's at least 300 more pages,im not ready for this webcomic to end,i've been reading this for years, through all my good times and bad and its one of few things i truly enjoy.

Well, let's see: all in a short period we have the end of the current story in Quantum Vibes, the end of Misfile, and now the impending end of PoY.
Bad things really do come in threes.

Book 8, Part 3, Ch 3, Page 8
Dunno if the symmetry was intended to coincide with bringing us back to the present, but I'm oddly satisfied that it did.

I may just be misremembering, but I recall in the original first pages of the comic that Peter actually opens up a window and maneuvers through it to get outside and smoke.

It was a small detail, but I think he also got a slightly derisive look from one of the other party guests, and I liked how it further highlighted how foreign he felt in that environment.

That said, I still really enjoy this revised version too, and now it's all finally coming full circle.

12 years of build up led to this. I found this comic since 2016

It's a trip to think it's almost over. I stumbled on this webcomic all the way back in 2011 over a summer i was jobless. In the ensuing 8 years, i've never not been excited to see a new page. It's been so long that I almost feel in a way like this group is a bunch of my friends.

You've done a great job, and you've told a hell of a twisty story.

Full circle
And here we are, right where we started this journey. For me, it was all the way back in 2008 when I came across this comic. And now, 11 years later, we've finally come full circle.

BUT... In my years reading this comic, Mr. Twist has always been one for throwing little surprises our way. We may have come full circle, but I don't think the story is going to end here, not just yet.

The end of a journey
I've been reading this webcomic since it started. I will miss it for sure
