Having just returned from a long trip abroad, I'm glad to have this small public soap box to say two things.
First, despite the difficulties being faced by the airline industry, the staff of Air Canada has proven consistently helpful far above the purview of their job descriptions. Specifically right now, I want to send my unending gratitude into the karmic ether to Gregory and Laura for the extensive work they did in correcting a major wrong by another airline. As much as I enjoy Toronto, I didn't feel like setting up residence in the Pearson Airport.
Second, let it be known around the world that one incompetent person can cause a ridiculous amount of trouble for a great number of people, especially when they refuse to admit their incompetence. A word to everyone, when faced with a task for which you are ill-prepared, it is far more honourable to accept the humility of admitting your ignorance and seek assistance to get the job done correctly. Anyone who foists that blame off on other people should be greatly ashamed of themselves, and I hope you all get pimples inside your assholes. That's right, Chris, you wrinkled old sock of a woman, I'm talking to you.
Just great. Dr. Evil walking in just when he has his mouth and hands full with junk munchies.
Come to think of it, that could be the best outcome: Devon taunts or insults Patrick, who, unable to respond, shows restraint for once and lets Devon go overboard with the insults, at which Melanie has to turn against him.
(Of course, Patrick will have to do something stupid, genius or not.)
