I stopped being weird once. I don't recommend it.

"Stop that, stop that, this page is far too weird. I'm the senior officer here and I'm stopping it. I've done it. This page is over."

True story.

Now to do the Lady and the Tramp 'Spaghetti scene' with the joint.

xkrazydog, December 30th, 2009, 8:43 am

Stop flirting in front of the poor normal person. It is not recommended.
Piff i find it highly amusing that Patrick gets all nervous and anxious around Alex >>;; thank hell the joint saved their awkward conversation.

cals (Guest), December 30th, 2009, 8:51 am

@ tezzle: yes! monty python does it best.

darkamnios, December 30th, 2009, 9:57 am

Saved by the joint

yayness (Guest), December 30th, 2009, 10:41 am

I love Alexander :D

And i still think he is really good for Patrick.

jd_singer, December 30th, 2009, 11:29 am

I like Patrick's stunted language too - particularly following his wordy tirade last page.

H0lyhandgrenade, that sounds downright romantic, but I think even in burning-hot kisses, there can be too much of a good thing.

Anotheryaoifreak, you can be so cute in a frightening way.

I sympathize with Dreadlocks. At his age, I totally detested feeling kept out of an ongoing story.

And answering comments last page raised a question about Pictures of You: I find it strange that so far as I can remember we haven't seen anyone use or even mention the Internet. Particularly as in those early days (assuming it takes place after '95, when Seven came out, but before '97, when Star Wars Special Edition was released - Sam would have mentioned it at some point, right?), the Internet was used mainly for porn (sorry, but that's the truth), messaging, gaming resources and music resources (ah, ftp.nevada.edu, the wonders that were there ...). Two of which at least are of particular use for Our Heroes.

(Of course, Alexander would be net-less as well as phone-less. Personal access for most people was still a few years away.)

One last thing and I'm done: yay, Alexander gets a new way to pronounce "Patrick"! I wonder if he knows about one of the meanings of "pet" ...

How subtle

SharpSpoonful (Guest), December 31st, 2009, 5:37 am

I'm afraid to think of the personal harm that would be caused by the lady and the tramp style kiss. Cigarette burns are not pleasant.

Chalkboard (Guest), December 31st, 2009, 7:59 am

@tezzle: Didn't think anyone remembered much about Monty Python =)

jd_singer, December 31st, 2009, 10:30 am

My thoughts exactly, SharpSpoonful.

And a Happy new Year to everyone! I'm 6:30' early, but later I'll be at the party ...
