The Home Stretch

I've now begun illustrating the eighth and final chapter in Book One, and in 20 pages, I will have completed the first step in a very long journey. The best news, I think, is that I will have completed the entire book without missing a scheduled update. 102 pages, posted every two days for more than six months (by the time it's finished.) I don't mind saying it hasn't been the easiest thing I've done, but it has been very rewarding. Maybe I shouldn't speak too soon, I may yet miss an update, but it seems like a rare thing to keep such a frequent schedule with a story webcomic, so pardon me if I strut a bit. As much as I've enjoyed it, though, it will be nice to take a short break from it before I begin Book Two.

Also, I've received my very first ever fanart! It comes from longtime stalwart fan and friend, Nicholas and can be seen here. Thanks Nicholas!

Think of it as the hiatus between seasons of a television series.
