Seven years ago, I decided to post online some pages of a comic I'd been working on, mostly just to get some reaction and some feedback. I didn't take it all that seriously to start, and I was curious then how long I would last at this silly little webcomic idea. More than a thousand pages, more than four volumes, dozens of chapters, two schedule changes, a calamitous crowdfund saga that cost more money than it raised, one or two depressed breakdowns on top of a perpetual motion confidence crisis, many miles worth of pencils and miles more of ink, a shift into colour, a giant leap of skill, a marriage to one of my readers, and a respectable number of touched and changed lives later, here we are, almost halfway through the series.
I can't say enough thank yous to our readers, both the ones who've left us and the ones who keep dragging themselves back. To those of you who've thrown your money at us, whether in our crises, or for our wares, or simply to say thank you for pumping out the pages. To the supporters who do their best to spread the word and bring this work to new eyes. To the critiques who helped me improve and to the complainers who kept me focused on what I was doing right. To those who took the time to send emails, and so much to those who shared their own very personal stories, your faith in me has touched me so much.
I am sorry for the things I have done wrong, and the things I have yet to do wrong, though I may not always realize that I have done them. I hope you will all forgive me for taking a moment to be proud of these accomplishments, self-serving as they may be, before I plunge into the next seven years and try to drive this bus home.

Are your books available on Comixology or other online platforms? Been reading this for a while and would love to give back, but have been avoiding piling up dead tree editions in my small place...

Ebooks are a possibility. I don't know anything about them, and would have to investigate, but if there was enough interest, I would surely look into it. They're not currently available in any other electronic format, I'm not even 100% sure what Comixology is, though I suppose I could look into that too. Thanks.

Thank you for every page, GT -- following PoY day in and day out has been a great joy.

Pictures of You has been around for as long as I've been reading webcomics, and throughout these seven years I've picked-up and dropped a LOT of comics, but PoY has always been there, and as long as you're still drawing it it always will be.
Rock on, Gib. You're the best!

Gibson, its been a privilege, honor, and a pleasure to be one of your readers. Believe it or not, this comic has not just entertained me but educated and cultured me as well. You could say that it sort of helped shape the way I see the world, and helped broaden not just my ability to understand but to be understanding about things. I can't think anything else that I've seen that I can say that about.
Anyway, once again, Congratulations on seven years, and I strongly look forward to see what's in the future.
Been good learning from you, Gibson.

So glad I learned of this webcomic years back, otherwise I would have never been afforded the opportunity to share all the experiences of the Pictures of You gang. Plus, I got to meet you, Gibson, and your wife Rory, and I'm so glad for that as well.
May you and the comic live on and prosper, Gibson!

You know what they say...
The first seven years are always the hardest. From now on, it's smooth sailing, generous windfalls, sound health and non-stop orgasms. Seriously, they're gonna be non-stop. Better get some fruit and water.

Congratulations, sir. 7 years. And through all of life's challenges you just keep pumping out pages. You're an inspiration and a true professional. Keep on telling us your stories, you magic man.

Comixology is a comics distribution platform, where people digital versions for reading on their phones, tablets or computers via the Web.
Comixology Submit - https://submit.comixology.com/ - is the self-publisher portal for getting your work onto their platform.
My brother started his book RED LIGHT PROPERTIES as a webcomic, repackaged it as digital issues on Comixology (though Monkeybrain, a creator-focused imprint) and elsewhere (in a handful of languages in addition to English), and now has a print deal with IDW for the trades.
Point being, it's another channel (that's growing fast) to get your work out there. Graphicly (graphicly.com) used to do something similar, but is focusing more on ebooks. Dark Horse and Image have their own digital distribution channels via their websites and mobile apps, but also sell via Comixology, Google Books, Amazon, and others.
Mentioning all of this b/c I've liked the series, and would love to see you reach more people.

Happy Anniversary to a great story!

Just wanted to add my voice here and thank Gibson for keeping up the amazing work, especially for so long. 7 years is a great accomplishment, even though PoY seems still unknown in the webcomic world. :[
I'm a relatevely new reader, but that doesn't mean I'm any less anxious to see where the story goes next.
Cheers, and here's to the future years maybe being less rough.

Im thankful and glad you decided to post your work online and for letting us being a part of it!
I hate to repeat myself but since I tried emailing without much luck, any news/feedback/ etc on what happened with the copies of POY book that were brought in the past. I still haven't gotten mines ^^;
