Three exclamation points! That's right, the new site design has launched! Go look around, check shit out! No, wait, finish reading this first.

Years ago now, I asked the intrepid Enkida to design me a site, and she designed the shit out of it! I loved the old site and she did a lot of fun stuff to suit the unique needs of a comic like Pictures of You, including one of the best Archive configurations in the industry, which has been instrumental in our success here.

As time went on, though, the needs of the comic and of the site exceeded my vision from those early days, and so much of what I asked Enkida to build for me became limiting. Who knew I'd need to include a store? Who knew people would want to send me email? I tried to work within the architecture, but it became apparent pretty quickly that I lacked the skill to manipulate her advanced coding.

So after a year of, let's call it plainly, fucking around, I was able to pick and peck and pluck my way around to cobble together the site you see before you. Considering how much of a Luddite I really am, I will confess to being proud of this new site.

But we're not done yet, of course. There are a lot of things I'm still putting together for the site, and not just the Cast page and the Store, but other fun stuff both within the structure of the site and without. I'm hoping to make the site a more lively entity with consistent new features and extras, big and small.

Look for the Store to become available very soon with our first product, a One-Inch Punch! t-shirt (and yes, it's the one Kara wears in that one picture you all love) and the Cast page will be a little more than just quick bios. In addition, watch for new buttons popping up shortly in the right-side bar.

So now, look around, click buttons, investigate, and let us know what you think!

Congratulations Let me be the first to say: Very Nice! Well done, indeed.
Is there maybe a chance you will put up the old b/w strips? I liked the style.

Rad. I dig the site!

Can I make a suggestion? If there's a way to make the background faded, or have more transparency, beneath the text it would make reading the news updates a little easier. I found that after reading a few paragraphs my eyes got tired because of all the art behind the text. Just a thought!

Keep truckin'

Thanks! The News is something I'm still working on. Call it lack of foresight on my part.

Unfortunately, no, the old B&W pages won't be made available again, at least not in the foreseeable future.

yo "news" and "first" are obscured by the "P"
since there is room one the right you might want to move it over

The background is a bit busy, making it hard to read text over it. You might fade it more.
